Is DSW available now?
Not yet. The new Driving School Website System is still in development. Register your interest to hear about early access.
How much will it cost?
Pricing and licensing have not yet been finalised. These will be explained before anyone is asked to buy.
Does registering commit me to anything?
No. It registers your interest in development and early access. It does not place an order, reserve a website or commit you to a purchase.
Getting started
What is DSW?
DSW combines a WordPress plugin for your driving-school information with a matching website theme. It is designed for independent instructors and small driving schools. See how it works.
Do I need to know how to build a website?
The everyday DSW setup uses business information such as your prices, teaching areas and contact details—not page-layout code. WordPress and the product still need to be installed; final setup requirements and instructions will be provided before release.
Does it include hosting and a domain name?
No. The forthcoming system requires suitable WordPress hosting and a domain name, arranged separately. It is not a new managed hosting service.
Can I use my own domain and hosting?
DSW is intended to run on your own domain with suitable WordPress hosting. Your content stays in WordPress rather than a proprietary hosted builder. Hosting compatibility and any move still need to be checked.
Do I need all my content ready first?
Start with accurate essential details: your school, lessons, prices, areas and contact options. Add photographs, reviews and other material as it becomes available. Review the website before making it public.
Your website, your information
Is it just a website template?
A theme controls the appearance. DSW also provides a structured place for your business information and uses it across the main pages. Explore real website examples.
What pages and information can I include?
The main structure covers the homepage, lessons and prices, instructor and car information, teaching areas and contact details. You can describe manual or automatic tuition, lesson options, test centres and your approach to teaching.
Can I change the appearance?
Use your branding, colours, photographs and the available appearance styles. The aim is a website that feels like your school without asking you to design every element.
Can I change prices or other details later?
Yes. Update the relevant information in DSW and review the result. You do not need to rebuild the standard page layouts for routine changes. Any separately written content should also be checked.
Can I add pages, advice or news?
Yes. It remains a WordPress website. Additional pages and posts can sit alongside the main DSW structure; the system also includes a driving-advice area.
Can I show pupil reviews and test passes?
DSW provides areas for genuine pupil feedback and pass details, including photographs. Only publish information and images you have permission to use.
Will it work on phones and tablets?
The website theme adapts for phone, tablet and desktop screens. Check your own content and images in the preview as part of setup.
How can pupils contact me?
Choose the contact methods you want to offer, such as telephone, mobile, email, WhatsApp and the website enquiry form. Contact information and enquiry delivery need to be configured and checked.
Moving & existing customers
What if I already have a website?
Existing WordPress sites can be considered for a move to DSW. Review useful pages, photographs, forms and important addresses before switching. Read about moving to DSW.
Can every website be converted automatically?
No. Older themes, page builders and custom features can store or display content differently. A move needs review; automatic conversion and universal compatibility are not promised.
What happens to existing DSW hosting customers?
Existing hosting and support remain separate from the forthcoming product. Continue using your existing customer account and support route, linked in the footer.
